Your responsibilities:

  • Reviewing of implemented security baseline
  • Coaching and training team about organization security requirements
  • Developing and executing security tests on cloud platform AWS
  • Continuous checking of work delivered by platform developers and projects on the platform
  • Managing security gaps between organizational requirements and current state
  • Providing security consulting for new projects being developed on AWS
  • Monitoring, optimizing, and supporting execution of security requests on the cloud platform
  • Proposing actively solutions to improve and simplify data classification processes to meet security requirements and user experience
  • Co-creating security roadmap for AWS platform
  • Guiding and training users and developers to effectively utilize cloud capabilities
  • Overseeing links between security and different users needs, spot for blocker, propose solutions
  • Designing security in the way that security “workarounds” will be addressed, define and manage “grey zone”
  • Implementing security into: testing processes, good coding practices, tools, deployment process.
  • Hands on Automating of security checks reflecting internal data sensitivity levels
  • Collaborating with application developers and database administrators to deliver creative solutions to difficult technology challenges and business requirements
  • Providing subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams
  • Executing security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems
  • Automating security controls, data and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support
  • Staying abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls
  • Spoting and executing new security technologies and best practices into the company’s Cloud

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • Strong familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and cloud provider ecosystems like Amazon AWS
  • Practical application of AWS Well-Architected Framework tools to protect compute resources (Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda)
  • In depth understanding of foundational security concepts (“least privilege”, “Shared Responsibility Model.”)
  • Practical knowledge of AWS foundation services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies
  • Good practices for storing data within and between various AWS services, familiarity of encryption of data at rest, in motion
  • Practical knowledge of AWS detective controls components like Amazon GuardDuty , Amazon CloudTrail, AWS config, AWS SecurityHub, AWS Macie, AWS KMS.
  • Robust micro services programming (AWS Lambda, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience in architecting, designing, and programming applications (like C, C++, C#, .NET, Java, Python etc.)
  • DevOps know-how building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies like ansible, chef, puppet, docker, jenkins, etc.
  • Familiarity with using AWS Cloud Services (EC2, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc.)
  • Understanding of complex enterprise environments and current technology areas like cloud and mobility
  • Certification: It is important that applicants for the cloud security engineer position have CISSP or equivalent security-related industry certifications and AWS Associate or higher Certification
